Using AI
In Germany, more companies are starting to use Artificial Intelligence (AI). In 2023, 20 out of 100 companies said they use it. This is more than in 2022 (12 out of 100) and 2021 (11 out of 100).
Big companies are using AI the most. Almost half of companies with 250 or more workers use it. Medium-sized companies (50 to 249 workers) are at 28%. Small businesses (10 to 49 workers) are at 17%.
AI is mostly used to read text or understand speech. For example, it helps companies make better ads or talk to customers faster.
But many companies are not using AI yet. Most say they don’t know enough about it. Others are worried about rules or keeping data safe.
